Maisie and Aaron go way back and we actually attended school together! They also just got married a few weeks ago – woohoo, congratulations!!!! Cody and I got married back in October and pushed our honeymoon out to this summer. Turns out that their honeymoon to Hawaii was at the same time as ours so obviously we had to do a honeymoon session!

Hawaii Honeymoon at Kehena Beach

While in Hawaii, we decided to do their breathtaking honeymoon session at Kehena Beach in Pahoa, Big Island Hawaii! It was raining and cloudy on this day, but that didn’t stop us from getting some BOMB photos. It was a fairly easy hike down a cliff with a gorgeous black beach at the bottom. The waves were huge and definitely almost took us out a few times, but so worth the outcome!

By the end of the session, Maisie & Aaron were soaking wet. They were super happy about what they saw on the back of the camera, they seriously looked like models! They were happy to have this session of them on their honeymoon to share with their future kids.

I felt absolutely amazing after capturing such magical shots. I had been dying to get a couple in the water like this and do it in Hawaii was a dream come true. Shooting in the rain was also a big goal of mine, so I was really living my best life.
