Mexico Beach Wedding in Cozumel
Surprisingly enough, it’s been 1.5 years since Jordan and Jerry booked with me for their wedding. This is what we mean people when we say to book your vendors in advance, dates go by fast! We began chatting about their wedding plans in Cozumel, Mexico and I couldn’t have been more pumped. It was my first destination wedding and have been itching to have more (so more of these PLZ!). We actually did their engagement session last year in the mountains since their wedding was going to be on the beach. They really wanted the best of both worlds, so that’s exactly what we gave them!
Jordan and Jerry actually lived together for a bit in Thailand so travel is a major player in their relationship. Jordan and Jerry both appreciate the beach and snorkeling is actually one of Jordan’s favorite activities! Mexico Beach Wedding in Cozumel
They decided to have their wedding on the beach at their resort, Occidental Cozumel. It was a remote location filled with so much greenery and of course an insanely beautiful beach. The sunsets here were absolutely IMMACULATE so I really was living my best life. My husband, Cody, and I traveled to this wedding together and spent the day before hanging out with the bride and groom and their wedding party! We even got to attend the rehearsal dinner which was so incredibly amazing. Aside from me having a camera in my hand, it felt nice to be immersed in that environment for my couple and be 100% there for them. Fun fact: along with some of her other wedding guests, this was our first time traveling outside of the country!
On the day of the wedding, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. Jordan and her bridal party looked amazing and the groom and groomsmen looked absolutely dope as well. Everyone was so involved in this wedding and you really saw how much all of them cared for Jordan and Jerry. It was a pretty intimate wedding with about 25 people so we really got to have the best time. After the ceremony, we made sure to soak up all the sun with some portraits too! We mainly were on the beach but of course we had to get some snaps all throughout this stunning resort.
This wedding was an absolute dream and trust me… I did NOT want to leave. The next day me and Cody packed our bags and headed to the airport to fly back home. Although we stumbled upon some minor layovers/delays, it was totally worth it to be there for Jordan and Jerry on their special day. Congrats Jordan + Jerry for having the most amazing wedding day EVER!!
